@derek How is that even controversial? It's an awesome movie. CGI's not so great mixed with cel, but at least it's not trying to be photo-realistic.
@mdhughes if memory serves the thing people took umbrage with was a script (early Whedon project lmao) but I bet it holds up
@derek I like the script, dialogue, characters, and voice casting, but it's very flippant about super dark subjects, which was sort of OK pre-9/11, a year+ later and it'd really have had problems. Mostly I think the studio problems were what sank it.
