@derek Got an Oscar, was in predetermined cash cow Top Gun: Maverick ... not sure where her missing due is.
@clacke I guess it's more in terms of acclaim and presence in the culture; she's been working steadily since the 80s yet she's always felt more marginal than someone of the talent level ought to feel; she's like a third pitcher in a baseball rotation that quietly wins like 15 games and no one talks about it
