Can anyone recommend a good short serial?

By that I mean one of the old-style serials where they chopped the story into little bits and showed a new installment each week.

I'd be especially interested in serials, but are ok too.

In video-related news, if anyone's interested in helping to make an ethical decentralised alternative to YouTube, there's a crowdfunding going on to further develop PeerTube:

kisskissbankbank.com/en/projec

PeerTube is still in beta testing so there isn't a huge amount of content yet, but it works and anyone can set up their own instance if they want.

If a video gets too popular for one instance to cope with, the system shares the load with other instances.

Don't want to sound like a grouch but the trailer for "Wreck it Ralph 2" seems a bit too πŸ˜•

Anyone else remember years and years ago there was that weird video "going to the store"? And it had a weird sequel "late for a meeting"? And then nothing for ages?

Apparently they uploaded a rather epic new video last year:

Wow. Ok, so, we just did a short film in 48 hours, including writing, shooting and editing, starting from absolutely nothing, as part of the film contest.

It's a crazy idea but it works, somehow it comes together (just about). Anyone interested in has got to try this, at least once. It is the most fun you can have with a cast and crew.

Now for some sleep.

Right, this dweller of a European timezone has to get to bed but this was great. Sign me up for the next one!

This is so cleverly written, power shifts back and forth. Wouldn't work with a sighted character.

Hepburn's character learns so fast, love it. Like a battle of wits with Arkin & co.

The set designer really had a lot to do here, lots of moving parts for the actors' business.

Setup is a bit like a more serious version of "The Ladykillers"

Ok, I think I might be getting ahead of others. Might be my PAL disc, they're a bit faster :/ Will try to avoid spoilers.

Wow, emergency numbers were long in those days

This is like some dark mirror image of Holly Golightly's apartment block πŸ™ƒ

Love the tension from people just standing there.
