Ever seen the Stevie Wonder Sesame Street performance? It’s unreal. That show used to be incredible. There was arty shit like abstract animations with Philip Glass compositions behind them and it was really overt that it was set in working class Harlem. It was God-tier. Public TV was so good when I was little.

Then they gutted it and now Sesame Street is just a generic as hell kids show and has been gentrified by an HBO paywall. It sucks so fucking much.

Here’s the Philip Glass thing I’m thinking of. The show used to have so much respect for little kids’ intelligence. It kills me what’s happened to it.
